Dear Tommy,

My name is Cheri Spurgeon and I am writing you in regard to your book "Cancer" and my dad, Robert Hougland.  Dad was diagnosed with gastric cancer in January.  The tumor was large and we didn't have much hope for him.  We were given your book to read shortly after his diagnosis.  Mom, Dad and all 6 of us kids read it.  We were so excited, we now felt we had a plan.  We went on the internet and ordered everything you suggested.  We have followed your instructions to a T.  Dad still wanted to do the chemo which he has toughed it thru 3 cycles.  He had a few set backs and the side effects were tough on him, but he never got really sick, just very weak and food no longer tastes good to him.  My dad is a young 75 year old and has a bucket list that he still wants to fulfill.  His doctors are amazed at how well he has done.  2 of them ask him if he has a secret and he just said, "yep".  We didn't want to tell them for fear they would be negative and try to talk him out of using the B-17 and Essiac tea.

I am very pleased to tell you that his last CT showed that the tumor has shrunk to 1/2 it's original size!  His Oncologist said that he is amazed and extremely pleased.  They now want to do radiation to finish it off. He still takes the a chemo pill (Xeloda) which I'm sure is effecting his taste and causing weakness.  His oncologist suggested cutting back to 2 wks on and 2 wks off, which we had already started hoping it would help. We also cut his B/P meds way down which should also help with the weakness and tiredness.  Other then that he has been dealing with depression which I think will take care of itself now that he can see a real future ahead.

I want to thank you for writing your book and caring enough to help others and give them a plan and hope after being given a death sentence. God had a reason to keep you on this earth and I feel this is just one of them.  You are our angel and I am sending you a big grateful HUG!

Sincerely,
Cheri Spurgeon

Iowa resident

PS:  If you could find the time I would love to hear back from you with some encouragement for dad, I think that just might be the final boost he needs.
